Correction Policy for PMLatestNews

PMLatestNews (starting now referred to as “PMLatestNews,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our”) is committed to delivering accurate news and information. This Corrections Policy outlines our approach to addressing and correcting any inaccuracies on our website. We value accountability and aim to keep our readers informed by making corrections promptly, transparently, and clearly.

Commitment to Accuracy

PMLatestNews strives to provide accurate and comprehensive news reports based on the best available information at the time of publication. If an error is identified, we address it immediately. Corrections or clarifications are also shared on our social media platforms, often accompanied by an editor’s note that explains the correction and details the original error. For significant errors that may mislead readers, we extend a formal apology.

Updating Articles

When an article is updated, we mark it accordingly to inform our readers. Major changes are accompanied by a correction, clarification, or editor’s note. If an error is found in a fact-check (as per our Fact-Check Policy), we update the article and highlight corrections at the top in bold, “[Correction: updated info…].” We also encourage readers to suggest corrections via email at info@pmletestnews.in or through the “Suggest A Correction” option provided at the end of each article.

Corrections

If we find a substantive error in an article, caption, headline, graphic, or video, we promptly issue a correction explaining the change.

Clarifications

If our reporting is accurate but could be clearer, we update the language with a clarification note. This also applies if we initially missed including a comment or if new reporting has led to an adjusted account of an event.

Editor’s Notes

Significant concerns, such as those that call into question the core content of an article or involve ethical issues, may require an editor’s note. These are approved by a senior editor and include an explanation of the issue.

Reader-Initiated Corrections

When readers identify errors in the comment stream, our community engagement team will address and confirm the correction in the comments. We also correct any erroneous information posted on social media, retracting the original post if it cannot be edited.

Attribution of Errors

We do not attribute blame to individual reporters or editors in the case of reporting or editing errors.

Reporting Inaccuracies

If you believe a story we’ve published contains inaccuracies, please contact our editorial team via the “Suggest A Correction” section at the end of each story or by emailing us at info@pmletestnews.in.

Take-down Requests

As a matter of editorial policy, we do not accommodate take-down requests. If the subject of an article claims it is inaccurate, we will investigate and, if needed, publish a correction. When fairness requires a follow-up or update, we may take further editorial action without removing the article entirely.

If publicly available personal information is involved, we review takedown requests only if the individual faces physical harm due to its presence.

We also use AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, etc.) to assist with content modifications, enabling immediate corrections as needed. Please email the correction details along with the story link to info@pmletestnews.in
